Rouge rocked the music industry in 2005. With their RnB hit, 'Don't Be Shy', they were sure not to miss any show of the year. Dr. Zeus was the person who produced the hit. He owns the credit of featuring in a video directed by Ray Kay, who has also directed the video for Soldier by Destiny's Child. Classically trained singers hailing from diverse academic backgrounds including Economics, Medicine and Dentistry form the members of the band. Mis-teeq, Sugababes and Destiny's Child are the ones to which Rogue has been compared to. Comparing Rouge with other bands is quite difficult as this appears to be first band to offer such mix of cultural influences including Persian, Arabic and Asian in one band.
The Best Newcomer category at the BRAMMAS has got Amrita, Legha and Laura nominated along with chart topper, Raghav. This apart they have also performed alongside Girls Aloud and Big Brovaz at the Sony Sports Personality of the Year Awards.
